   Food is an acquired taste is the best way i can put it. Very earthy and sweet at the same time. The food is very posh and not common which is fine but if you are going to have some odd food you better have a staff that knows what the food is. When asking staff no-one knew what the dish was or how to describe it which turned into a blind pick and choose. From pasta that was strangely sweet to wild dry mushrooms tasting like buffalo wild wings. Mushroom soup was delicious but served in a espresso sized cup which was odd and tiny. You could barely fit your spoon in the dish. Parking is a challange and because at night the blinds are up people parking their cars shine their headlights right at you so make sure you sit facing away from windows. If you like odd food or earthy food it can be a treat but for someone looking for a nice restaurant to take out their significant other for a romantic dinner you might find yourself hitting up a drive through on the way home

   I do not like the 2 person tables or sitting right next to a 2 person table, totally ruins the experience

   This is our go to place for special occasions love that they change the menu if they ever have coconut cake it’s a 100% must so delicious. Our server was fantastic helpful but not overbearing and the food was excellent.

   Great Brussels' sprout appetizer!!! And the scallops were cooked to perfection!! Out of this world! This was our first time at 1776, but it definitely won’t be our last!! ❤️

   The food and the service were outstanding! Our waitress was attentive any very helpful with the menu choices. We were there on Valentine’s Day but didn’t feel rushed at all. The only negative was that the hostess was a bit rude.

   Usually am a huge fan of this restaurant and we gobble up the menu but the new menu was awful. Extremely meat heavy, many items we simply thought were disgusting after trying. For being an inherently gluten free restaurant that focused on a lot of meatless items, they seem to have forgotten that this is what alot of their customers came in the door for to begin with. Taking a long break in hopes they improve in the future.

   Our first time dining at 1776. We were excited to try for two reasons. First the all gluten free menu was a huge draw due to allergies and secondly to have a fine dining experience in the suburbs. Generally it was a very nice experience but we found a few of the dishes we ordered came up a little short in flavor, and presentation with some odd choices in preparation. We will return and continue to explore the menu.

   The food was good. My wife liked her sole and my strip steak was very tasty with the horseradish sauce. I will definitely do back.

    Food was very good. The wine was outstanding and was recommended by the wine steward. Our server was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. It was a very nice evening.
