   Participated with 10th anniversary 'sale' of menu items. My filet was prepared perfectly. One of my dinnermates said his steak was a little cool in temperature. Very busy, but the server Gina hustled!

   First time I have to leave a negative review about 1794 in all our years visiting. I love this place, but this was an overall terrible experience. I just wasn’t in the mood to argue and send something back because it already took 40 minutes for a steak with mashed potatoes and Reuben with fries. My wife’s steak was cooked proper but arrived to the table luke warm at best. My Reuben sandwich was cold, bread didn’t even appear toasted. Maybe if one of the cooks wasn’t so focused on leaving the kitchen and coming out to talk to one specific table in the main dining room every 10-15 minutes, they could’ve put out a hot meal for my family.

   Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection! The cinnamon sauce / dip for the sweet potato fries was amazing.

   We had four guests at our table. The service was attentive and the server was pleasant and friendly. We started out with beverages and ordered the wings as an appetizer. The “pours” for the wines that were ordered were generous. The wings were fried and covered with a glaze and scorpion salt. They were flavorful. The main course were steaks for three of us. One member of our party ordered the steak baguette. In all cases, we were happy with the size of the steaks and level of temperature that they were cooked. Two members of our party had the fresh cut fries with their meals and they were happy with the mix of fresh taste and the level of salt on the fries. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. We will be returning to this restaurant in the future.

   Had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The food was prepared exactly as requested and our server Angela was fantastic. Her suggestions were perfect. She suggested the mushroom appetizer and it was really good.We have been here before and will be back.

   A great deal offered of any entree for $1794 made this a reasonably inexpensive visit. Hope this is offered again! Their 10th Anniversary! Staff were very attentive and meals were excellent.

   We were there for our 30th wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised that 1794 was also celebrating their 10th. All entrees are $17.94 for a very limited time. Their whiskey selection is extensive and even rivals the Wine & Spirits shops. The whiskey rings, onion rings with a savory batter, had the perfect bite to them. We then indulged in the 8oz filet mignon with mushrooms. Everything was prepared to perfection; the steaks were cooked to order and were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The portions were generous, so much so that we had no room left for anything on the extensive dessert menu. The server was very busy but not neglectful. The entire staff gelled with each playing their part. I look forward to returning.

   Over the years, we have been coming to 1794, we have always enjoy the Ambience and Decor of the Restaurant, the location in downtown Carlisle gives the feeling you are in that time period of the eighteen or early nineteen hundreds. We'll be going back again.

    Food and aervice always fabulous. Certainly new difference with Michelle as manager. Quickly changes over the tables. The 10th Anniversary sale with all entrees $17.94 is unbelievable and no change in portion size.
