   I’m from out of town and always find time to come here. I took two clients from Minnesota and they both raved about 42nd. For the table I ordered oysters Rockefeller and lump crab cake. Always delicious. For my entree I selected Ahi tuna. Fantastic. Service was great and atmosphere was nice

   We enjoyed our meal at 42nd Street Oyster Bar. We had a selection of Fresh Oysters to begin and they were delicious. We also appreciated that they had a good selection of wines that go nicely with oysters. Our main courses were okay, nothing that we would order again. We sat in the bar to have a cocktail before dinner, drinks were nothing special. Service was good though. Overall, we might come back and try it again.

   This wasn’t my first time eating here. Firstly the server staff did great in spite of several hick ups they were Very pleasant. Food wise, it took a very long time. The dinner came before the apps. We came to celebrate a birthday and it was ultimately not acknowledged despite saying something several times. Overall I realize that it was busy. I’d try them again!

   Seated right away with a reservation, 8 party for 8 celebrating 2 birthdays. Lauren, our server, was nice but seemed very busy. We ordered drinks, favorite beer selection not available. Lauren was alone, with no runner or help, so there were delays for refills and requests during the meal. The food was good, not exceptional. Great hushpuppies! Not a bad experience, but not great either.

    We arrived a bit early & they were able to accommodate us. Our server was fantastic & made great recommendations that everyone loved. Will definitely be back.
