Please join us at 740 Front in Historic Downtown Louisville. Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.
The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines,  handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.

    740 Front has been a favorite for years but we moved 40 miles north and only dine when in the area. Quality and service remain fantastic and the menu still features many long-time specialties. Worth the drive, worth your time, and worth the price. You will be surprised and delighted

    Thomas is a great server. He works hard to accommodate the table. Our food was good. We had one glitch and the manager offered to remake the steak (it was well done instead of medium). The diner took her up on it. Cocktails are really good. You can't beat the baked eggplant or house salad. We really appreciate the all night happy hour on Thursdays, although we ordered mostly off of the regular menu. The artichoke appetizer was super small. Everything else was well portioned.

    We had a joyous gathering and terrific meal to celebrate a friend's birthday! We loved sitting in the front side room that offered street views and well as a more private setting. 740 Front Street is always a wonderful spot to enjoy a great meal, or drop in for a happy hour drink with friends. It's has wonderul ambience and is a local gem!

    Food was great. We did the Thursday night happy hour and ate off of both the happy hour and regular menu. Service from Tom was great. Just the right amount of attention.
