Abigail's Grille & Wine Bar serves modern eats in a renovated tavern that dates back to the Revolutionary War. Enjoy fresh oysters and clams from the restaurant's raw bar with a glass of wine or one of the restaurant's many fine cognacs. Lunch at Abigail's Grille & Wine Bar ranges from light salads with ingredients like country bacon or roasted cauliflower to an especially hearty chicken potpie and other meatier dishes. The restaurant's Monte Cristo sandwich is a true indulgence. Juicy steaks, rich house-made pastas and seafood delicacies like grilled swordfish and blackened redfish dominate Abigail's Grille & Wine Bar's dinner menu. The restaurant's bone-in Gorgonzola pork chop is a standout dish. A Sunday brunch menu includes your choice of cocktail.

Crowd was large, and seating was slow but steady. Service of drinks and dessert had to be requested despite two hour table limit.

This was my first time dining at Abigail's. The ambiance was relaxing. The Christmas decor was lovely. The dining rooms are not very large, so it can get a little loud at times. I had lunch there and it was very busy. The menu is not very large but there is something for everyone. I ordered from the Prix Fixe menu. Warm rolls were brought to the table on a plate of oil with grated parmesan cheese. They were delicious. I had the Caesar salad as my starter. It was a small plate. I would have preferred a little more, but it was satisfying. My entree was the parpardelle pasta with meat sauce. It was so good. I chose the apple strudel for dessert. It was served warm and was delicious. Our server was excellent and checked on us often. I liked that we weren't rushed and could sit and relax, enjoying our meal. My friend had the squash soup and the same pasta dish. She chose the cheesecake for dessert. The slice was large, enough for 2 to share. I highly recommend dining here. I also recommend making a reservation. I will definitely return.

With the windows and the hard plaster walls, the a0und bounced around fairly loudly while we were there. Also, as the afternoon progressed. the sun became an issue for me. The food wea great as usual. and Spencer, our waiter took very good care of us the

Service and atmosphere excellent as always. Overcharged for 2 glasses of wine. Shrimp and scallops fra diavolo tasty but 0 heat. Cowboy ribeye small and thin. Always seem to be disappointed in at least 1 entree.

Great service and atmosphere. The food was tasty, but suffered from some technique lapses. The crabcakes were wetter than one would prefer, but well seared and crab tasty. Table bread was delicous, but only one tiny roll per person-a few small bites. The house favorite-on the menue for 15 years-Blacked Redfish- was delicous in a very tasty sauce, but a rather small portion, and unevenly cooked. The accompanying scallops and shrimp in the sauce were overcooked and therefore chewey. The rice and faroe with each respective dish were tasty but unremarkable, the greens garnishes properly done, but the ramekin of coleslaw really didn't belong on the redfish plate. The glazed salmon was a ship/factory frozen cut from the look and texture of it- but tasty enough. The lack of a crisp skin was a miss, but no skin was, and would be better than a soggy one. These were both lower-priced items relative to the other menue items, but a one might expect these particular rather simple errors not to intrude on such a nice place to eat.

We always enjoy Abigail’s but we had a minor issue. My entree came with rice and spinach. I was surprised I had a $2.00 up charge to skip the rice for more spinach. I don’t think any restaurant has charged me for my non-carb option before 🥵
