This was an exceptional dining experience! The duck leg and gnocchi were two of the best dishes I’ve had. The drink menu was fun and the seats at the Chefs Counter were incredibly interactive and fun. We will definitely be back!!

Adele’s has a pretty cool open industrial vibe. I went with my wife and 4 daughters. We were super excited about the menu. We all ordered mocktails. They were all pretty good, not great; but, refreshing. We then had appetizers. Bone Marrow was very good; but, the salad we shared was excellent (not the kale salad), it was the highlight of the night. My kids loved the meatballs. The cornbread looked great but was dry and “meh”. But overall it was a great start. We then ordered ALL of the sides to share, 2 chicken dinners and 2 gnocchi dinners to share…my girls are 10, 12, 17 and 19 collectively weighing just over 300 lbs…there is only so much food I can force on them. Now, this is the turn for the worse. First, our server, mandated we order everything together to course us out and manage timing….this is never good. The mains and sides came out after a fairly long wait, maybe 30-40 min. Worse, it wasn’t because the kitchen was behind, it’s because nobody ran the food. Everything came out between warm and cold. All of it was “meh”. Chicken had no flavor. Gnocchi was just not good, the flavor profile was off putting. Collards and potatoes were best if the 4, mushrooms weren’t worth ordering. I probably would not have minded a 2 hour dinner with my family; but, the table we were at had the hot hVAC vent blowing in my face. My wife and I were so uncomfortable. I think our server got sat in other parts of the restaurant and maybe forgot about us. It took what felt like a while to find him and pay. To sum, the menu is great, the execution is a 6/10 and the service started strong but finished weak. For $500 I’d likely try many other places for returning because the value just isn’t there.

Hi Joshua, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your visit and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention. It’s clear we fell short in several areas, from the timing and temperature of your dishes to the comfort of your table and the service. We always aim to provide a top-notch experience, and we regret that we missed the mark this time. We’ve reached out to you directly to gather more details and make things right. We value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back for a much better experience. The Kale salad is to die for. They also have a dill dip with a lemon peel; get that on top of kale salad-a little close a long way!! Did not enjoy the price $35 not including drinks especially non alcoholic…our total meal plus tax was $77. They do accommodate parking, so take a photo of your license plate to show to the host. They do not open till 10am, so plan accordingly if you are an early bird. Their blueberry pancakes were good with the honey butter, but pancakes taste like they were made with cornmeal. Their cheese grits look like quinoa paste, not much taste. It is buffet, so you can go more than one time. Their buttermilk biscuits are cut in half and too die for just like the kale salad; nothing needed, you can literally eat them as is….the cooks knew what they were doing. I do enjoy the fact they have a compost, so no food is wasted as it goes straight back to the farm where they get their ingredients, so I do enjoy that they are suppling from a local farm. Overall, I would encourage large parties to go for celebrations as it is buffet; one price fits all.

Hi Natalie, Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed feedback! We appreciate your comments about our pricing. We understand that the cost can be a consideration, especially when adding drinks and tax, but we do strive to provide value with our locally sourced ingredients, and we’re glad to hear you noticed our commitment to sustainability with our composting efforts. Regarding the pancakes, we wanted to clarify that the "blueberry pancakes" you had are actually Johnny cakes—a cornmeal-based dish, which gives them that unique texture and flavor. They’re different from traditional pancakes made with flour, and we’re glad you enjoyed them with the honey butter! We hope to welcome you back soon for another visit, and we’ll be sure to have everything ready for you to enjoy!
