   Penny, at the front desk, was having a very busy Christmas lunch hour but she and others assisting her maintained very good humors. Savanah was our waitress was friendly and interested in talking with us when she could, considering how busy the floor was too. providing food tips. I haven't had Cream of Cauliflower soup before (not a big fan of cauliflower but I don't hate it either) and I took a flyer on a cup. I was really glad I did - it was delicious! My date, Robbie, had a taste and immediately ordered a cup for herself. She also had a very nice-looking Caesar salad with a cheese crostini and cherry tomatoes. I had 2 tasty Birria Tacos, less greasy than others I've had, and which seemed to be popular on other plates. Parmesan fries accompanied, but Truffle fries were also available at an additional charge. We shared a seasonal cheesecake, also delicious, with brown sugar and large chunks of apples.

   What a great experience! We had a lovely meal sitting by the waterfall! We had the absolutely delicious garlic bread for our appetizer, then I had the seasonal salmon. And husband had the steak frites. Followed by the super yummy flourless chocolate cake. Our waitress was wonderful, and very sweet, our food was delicious, and the ambiance was beautiful. Thank you, Albert’s for an amazingly good experience!

   The service was excellent The food was Devine. I highly recommend the tuna melt. Been to the zoo many times but this time went Christmas Eve day, it has become our new tradition…. 🎄

   We are members of the zoological society and frequent the zoo and safari park. I must say that the service and food were way below subpar on this trip. Our server never once refilled our drinks. In fact, she only asked if we wanted a refill once she brought us the check. At the price they charge for a single drink that is unacceptable. I had the chicken sandwich and it was fried to the point of almost being burnt and was super dried out. There was nearly no topping / sauce on it, which also made the practically burnt breading even worse. Keep in mind this is the zoo's high end place to eat. Save yourself the money and get food somewhere else. The quality and poor service in no way make up for the ambiance.

   Born and raised in San Diego, but first time to Alberts! We have an annual tickets for the zoo and Safari Park and that was the best choice of 2024. We decided to go again tonight to the zoo and Alberts! Our server was amazing. Talk about 10 star service. He was so nice, so caring and really great! We will come back just because of him! The food was good, a little salty, but that will happen at places like this. Otherwise, awesome, we really liked the Ahi tuna and My Husband steak was top-notch. Can’t wait to try brunch!

    Wonderful with the waterfall and trees creating a beautiful backdrop. Great food and attentive and friendly service.
