We are currently offering seating in our bar area, patio, and dining room. The garden area is open on a limited basis and taken on a first come first serve for walk-ins.

Serving dinner and bistro fare, Alchemy Restaurant and Bar offers cuisine transformed. With our Executive Chef, Michael Bryant, we specialize in fresh local ingredients, craft cocktails and boutique wines. We were honored to be named one of the Top 100 Restaurants for Foodies by OpenTable in 2015.

    A lovely experience in this restaurant housed in an antique house in Ashland, OR. Creative menus, great food, experienced and knowledgeable servers, extensive wine list and creative cocktails. Overall, a wonderful meal, and will go again. This was already my 4th or 5th time here.

    Perfect evening, perfect service, scrumptious food. Alchemy sets the bar way high and clears it every time. Nuanced sauces and flavors, clever Caesar "stack," divine desserts, carefully curated wine list, gracious handling of drink orders for non-drinking guests. Very attentive to timing since many guests are headed to OSF or other local arts venue for a concert or play. First class in every respect, grateful to have this option.

    Outstanding service and excellent food in an old Victorian home turned restaurant! The plates are small for the price but the food was very good.

    We have dined at Alchemy often and will likely return, however, for this meal we felt the chef was overly attached to his use of salt. The soup was way salty, the meat was a bit generously salted (not all bad with steak), and two of the three desserts on the menu indicated they were accompanied by Malden salt. We were seated in the bar area, and for a while there was a large table of loud diners, which made it hard to have a conversation. As soon as that party left the noise level was good.

    Such a nice treat in early spring to eat outdoors. The flowers were blooming, and the food was amazing.

    Reserved a last minute date night. The steak tartare, the lamb osso bucco and the duck were delightful! My husband said the old fashioned was the best he's ever had. I can concur that it was very smooth. My citrusy daiquiri was just right to cut through the richness of our meal. Didn't have to wait long for anything. Sat outside which was fine as the weather was perfect for it.
