For the past 28 years, Amanda's mission has always been about replenishing the soul through delicious contemporary cuisine and providing excellent service - all at a reasonable price. Guests enter our elegantly restored brownstones and are warmly welcomed by an accommodating staff. Although geographically close to Manhattan and certainly as culinary sophisticated, we're not slow to smile and truly aim to please each guest. Our popularity stems from the talents of our chef, our dedication to warm, gracious service and the comfortable elegance of our dining rooms. Amanda's is the natural choice for so many occasions: the romantic couple on a "date to impress," a family brunch on Sunday or the place to enjoy pre-theater Early Dinner at a price that is really too good to believe. Sophisticated wine lovers enjoy our monthly five-course wine dinners.

    Amanda’s continues to be a great place for celebrations. We were a group of 5 for a weekend birthday lunch, and the food and service were excellent. Fernando and the rest of the staff made sure we were attended to without being intrusive. We also enjoyed the live music - perfect balance in his song selections.

    Excellent favorite Hoboken restaurant. Gerat wines, great food. Nice portions. A plus having live piano playing while dining Owner Juan comes around to make sure everyone is taken care of.

    Amanda's was fabulous. Our group loved all the food and the service was top notch. If you're in Hoboken you should definitely check it out.

    Wonderful experience! Great server & great food. Ambiance is romantic. This restaurant is on the quieter side than other Hoboken ones. Definitely good if you want to have a conversation.

    Amanda’s has been a Hoboken classic and favorite for years. We went back after not coming for many years and were disappointed. The seafood tagliatelle was delicious but everything else (service, wine, food) was simply okay.

    The food and service never disappoint. The empanadas are authentic and so scrumptious. The salmon with lemon cream sauce was such a burst of flavor! The salmon was tender. The jasmine rice with spinach was the best rice I’ve ever had. It was delicate yet full of flavor.
