   We started with the premium oysters, which were incredibly fresh, briny, and perfectly shucked. They set the tone for the rest of the meal. For our entrées, we indulged in the shrimp and grits, which were creamy and bursting with flavor—true Southern comfort on a plate. The scallops were perfectly seared and paired beautifully with the seasonal vegetable risotto, which was both vibrant and comforting. And let me not forget the Amen Burger—juicy, cooked to perfection, and served with toppings that elevated it to a whole new level. The ambiance was inviting and full of Charleston charm, and the service was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations.

   Overall a nice experience. Fried oysters were very could. Shrimp and Grits, which were highly rated in reviews, were nothing special in my view. The grits, shrimp, and any thing else in the dish were completely covered in an excessive amount of cream sauce.

   Outstanding dining experience. Our table for 6 was ready when we arrived. Service was excellent! Menu selection is extensive. Food was delicious and plentiful. Try the calamari and the seafood platter. Oysters were perfect!

   Amen Street Fish and Raw Bar is a delightful restaurant! We were in town with my mother in law for the weekend and found Amen on Google. After reading the reviews were knew we had to eat here. The decor is welcoming and warm and the noise level is just right. I never felt like I had to yell or repeat myself with my companions. We started dinner with an order of Hush Puppies and the Date Salad for the table and I had the She Crab Soup. We all agreed that the Hush Puppies were the best we've ever had! The date salad with the arugula and goat cheese and dates, delicious!! If you love She Crab Soup ORDER THIS ONE!! It was so good with lumps of crab meat and you could taste the sherry in it. For our mains we ordered Bourbon Glazed Salmon Filet, New Bedford Sea Scallops with a crab cake on the side, and an order of Grilled Salmon, Broccolini, and a side of Creamed Corn. Everything was out of this world delicious!! I would go back just for the creamed corn alone! Bottom line, if you're in Charleston or planning to go to Charleston and haven't decided where to eat yet, look no farther than AMEN STREET FISH AND RAW BAR. We will definitely be back!!!

   Food was good but not great, it varies between dishes ( some good others ordinary). Ambiance is nice despite noise.

    Bring visitors here while in Charleston. - this visit a disappointment. Server forgot to bring my appetizer of clams. Served the meal and could not get his attention. When I did I was finished with my meal. When I told him about the clams said they were backed up. Which was not true. So I got my clams for desert. He saw I was agitated. And when he brought me the bill he did comp me for them. But also noticed portions are smaller and prices are up. Menu was new and items we came for are no longer on the menu. Food is still good. But maybe time to look else where
