Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar opened in 2009, reviving the former Amen name of Cumberland Street and restoring this historic corner. The new renovation stays true to the beauty of the original 1800's architecture while creating a comfortable atmosphere for contemporary life.

Located at 205 East Bay Street in the heart of the historic district this Charleston seafood restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining all within walking distance of the local Market and the Charleston Harbor.

The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as oysters, clams and shrimp in addition to an ever growing raw bar menu. Amen Street supports Charleston's local fishing industry with market fresh fish.

We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.

The oysters, Tuna Tartare and Shrimp we ordered were fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and the decor of the restaurant was modern yet comfortable. We enjoyed our dinner here so much that we plan to return for lunch before we leave Charleston.

If you are looking for a place to eat gluten-free, this is not the place. The waitress was not very knowledgeable. She really didn’t care. She just put out with any questions about anything. I felt like we were bothering her every time we asked for something. The hostess wasn’t really friendly again she was acting like she was put out her self not only will I not come back to Charleston South Carolina which is a beautiful city, but I’ll never go back to this restaurant!

Fantastic meal and service. I will make this simple. We had 4 different dishes and the Bulliabaisse was probably the best dish I have ever had at a restaurant. I shared it with the rest of the group and they agreed. It was so amazing they kept offering me their meal in exchange for mine. The shrimp and grits was also a great dish. Loved the atmosphere and the service as well.

We had a wonderful dinner here. The restaurant was warm and inviting, service was fantastic and the food was just what we were wanting. Loved the the shrimp & grits and the scallops! Prices were very fair too!
