Amrheins has been a Boston tradition since 1890. For over a century, diners throughout the city of Boston have been welcomed into Amrheins to enjoy quality meals amongst friends and neighbors. Today that tradition continues in our updated facility. Despite the renovations in 2005, Amrheins is still full of history. Amrheins is the proud home of the oldest hand carved bar in America and still has the first Draft Beer pump in Boston on display.     We got hung up in traffic and were way late. The hostess was very accommodating and our waitress served us up quickly and pleasantly. Food was solid. My only gripe was an almost undrinkable Cosmo, no lime just a double dose of triple sec that made it into cranberry syrup. We patched it up and made it to our show with time to spare. Couple of regulars at the bar, families dining together, a baby shower in the adjacent dining room. Obvious to see why this place is a neighborhood favorite for many years.

    Good, solid bistro fare, great service and drinks. Street parking, and easy access via the MBTA.

    We had a great brunch. Food and service were both excellent. Our server recommended some items that were wonderful. I'll definitely go back.

    Stopped in for the Patriots game. Service was excellent -- very attentive. Appetizers of wings and nachos were well received by the group. My burger was exactly as ordered and the other four people in the group each gave their entree high marks.

    Great place with good lunchtime atmosphere. The menu was diverse and I and my two lunch companions enjoyed our meals (ranging from omelet to turkey club to fish and chips). And the service was superb--friendly and efficient.
