First time at Angels and will certainly be back. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive and the food was fantastic. Loved to see a small Menu with great quality of food. The wine was fabulous too.

We had a lunchtime menu.. the crab on crumpet was a real highlight and utterly unctuous, and the sea trout was beautifully cooked.
Lovely setting in the heart of Edinburgh and well worth a trip. My third visit s d always on point.

Fantastic venue. Lovely helpful staff. Great service without being too fussy. Dark moody but perfect lighting and comfortable stylish seating and tables. Sirloin steak was beautiful and fries were perfect but was slightly lacking a little greenery, maybe just some rocket or watercress would have been ideal. Menu was slightly confusing for a first timer but we know for next time. The sea trout was amazing and lacked nothing. Haggis Bon Bon’s were gorgeous and so was the venison carpaccio.
Overall a lovely meal but a little pricey. Would definitely go again though.

food was just okay could have been warmer.nice girl that served us.ordered chardonay for my partner not properly chilled had to put ice in it.not ideal.especialy at 17 quid a glass.overall would not go back.
