   Another amazing meal at Anson! Among the highlights: beet salad with burrata, fried green tomatoes, scallops, and salmon with Napa cabbage and who can not order the crispy scored flounder….Service was impeccable as always. 10 gold stars!!

   We had a special birthday event for our daughter. it was our first time and our experience was beyond our expectations. Our waiter was one of the best we’ve ever had. The food was impeccable so much so that we really looked forward to the leftovers this morning. We will definitely come back again and again. This has quickly risen to the top of our favorites list.

   Anson is my favorite restaurant in Charleston. My family has been eating at Anson Restaurant for 22 years. We visit Charleston several times a year and it’s a must each time!!!

   Our new favorite Charleston restaurant. Food was fantastic. Great Ceasar’s salad. Scallops were fantastic. Salmon was wonderful. Service by KJ was impeccable. And don’t miss the almond basket for dessert. We absolutely loved this place. We’ll be back for sure.

   I wish I could write a glowing review of this restaurant, but unfortunately, I can not. I started with a 20 oz dry-aged rib eye and ordered it medium rare. After cutting into the ribeye, it was obviously overcooked to a medium temperature, with the steak being far too chewy for medium-rare. I told my waiter about the issue, and he took the steak back to the kitchen, no questions asked. Then either the manager or owner came to my table and said, "That's as medium rare as the steak is gonna get". He then offered to replace my meal with one of two smaller steaks or a pork chop. But, what left me most dumbfounded was his offer to bring the steak that had been taken back to the kitchen and examined by the waiter and chef and him back to me and let me eat it as my meal. This is insanely unsanitary and something that you would not even expect to see offered at Outback Steakhouse, let alone a high-dollar restaurant like Anson. I was left in disbelief by how this entire situation was handled and the refusal to make me a steak the way I ordered it. On a more positive note, the porkchop was very good, and the sides I ordered, brussel sprouts, and Greek potatoes, were fantastic. I wanted to love this place, but sadly, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

   LOVED it. The food was some of the best we've had in Charleston so far. Scallops were cooked perfectly, and the Lobster pasta was some of my wife's favorite. Servers were very professional. Overall a very good experience - we will go back.

   We had the best server anyone could have and the food was outstanding. I had the fried flounder which was fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

    We recently celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday at Anson, as they have a fantastic menu, and the service is second to none. Our dinner was absolutely amazing, beginning with dirty martinis and oysters, for dinner the best whole fried flounder in Charleston, and ending with the most fabulous pecan pie. They made the night special, a memorable occasion.
