   First time at the restaurant. Loved the vibe and the service was terrific. Work lunch so we all at soup and salads, but everything was well prepared. Will definitely come back for dinner another time.

   We come here often because they have incredibly good gnocchi that melts in your mouth. Last night I had their seasonal spiced cranberry sangria which was also delicious. I gave it four stars because we know what to order and it’s usually consistently good on those items. However, there are areas in which this restaurant is only a 2-3 star. Service is often inconsistent as it was last night. We really never saw our waiter again after runners brought our food to the table and we had to get up and go to the hostess stand to ask them to find him so we could get more drinks. Some dishes here are very disappointing. The eggplant Parmesan for example is bizarrely flavorless and more breading than eggplant. Last night we tried the beef carpaccio as an appetizer and it was hands down the least flavorful and blandest carpaccio we’ve had anywhere. It literally tasted like nothing. They were out of the seasonal dessert last night as well which was disappointing. I should also add that portions here are quite small and expensive. The noise level here is robust so if you are looking for a quiet dinner, this isn’t it. You will hear a substantial din of silverware and every other diners conversation. Our group didn’t mind that energy but it’s not what everyone is expecting if they are hoping for something more intimate. Would we come here if it wasn’t for the gnocchi? No. Can you find better Italian elsewhere? Absolutely.

   Food is always excellent, this was no different. Service was always excellent. Our waitress was Victoria-she takes great care of us! Always love going to Antico Posto!

   We love, love, love Antico Posto. The food is always amazing. The gelatos for dessert are fantastic as well. I always need to sample what my husband orders because I can't not order the eggplant parm! Maybe some changes to the wine menu would be welcome but otherwise everything is great. We bought a giftcard for someone as well to share the experience.

   Visit every year, early reservation. 4/4:30. Always get put at the worst table even though restaurant is 1/2 empty at that time. Feel like it's a penalty for some reason; maybe using open table. idk. Why not sit us in a booth like all the other groups of two that come in before and after us?

   Annual shopping day at the mall and lunch at the best restaurant in Oak Brook. Great as expected.

    The food was just fine. My husband and I first split an overpriced Caesar salad which was average. We then split a 10” pizza which also was average. Service was good. We were there with 2 other couples and it was hard to carry on a conversation because of the noise level. For $54 I think we could have done better.
