    Surf and turf was 105.00, the filet was rare and my wife got the seafood special and the lobster was over cooked. I travel to the keys 2-3 times a year, this was our first time here, I had great expectations but I was disappointed.

    We had to wait 45 mins before we got a server. When we did she tried the best she could but the kitchen was obviously backed up and it took way too long to order and receive our food.

    We have eaten at the Cheeca Lodge numerous times as well as stayed at the resort--- this was by FAR the worst service imaniginable. We were not guests during this most recent visit but if I were paying the room rates, fees, taxes, etc. and this was the service I received, I would provide a complaint to the resort as well. The staff are slow, limited english skills and not impressive at all---Cheeca Lodge needs to do much better---start by training the entire work force.

    We really enjoyed our time at the restroom. The entire lodge is gorgeous right on the water. We had a table overlooking the Atlantic ocean. The food is very good and the service is great too.

    Wonderful dinner start to finish. My husband had the yellow tail snapper, he loved it. I had the chicken, it was very flavorful. Dessert was delicious, chocolate tart with passion fruit. Our server Kellena was wonderful, very attentive and personable!

    I ordered the filet medium. It was rare. Waitress took it back to the kitchen. About 20 minutes later it was finally delivered…… still rare! The waitress never came to the table after requesting for her until another 20 minutes passed. Asked for the manager….. another 20 minutes. He removed the cost of my dinner from our bill. Me wife’s red snapper was very delicious. I would say there are major issues in the kitchen and staff. Never again

    Very limited lunch menu; only salads and handhelds. The IPA draft beer was room temp. Won’t be going back.
