Under renowned culinary leadership, Michelin One-Star Atlas brings a fresh and innovative approach to traditional cooking. Our menu is inspired by Chef Freddy Money’s career in some of Europe’s most prestigious kitchens. Each dish tells a story, and the menu takes you on a journey that focuses on ingredients, provenance, and texture, resulting in a powerful combination of wonderful and memorable food. Our restaurant doubles as a modern art gallery with emerald green walls covered in 20th-century art from some of the world’s most recognized artists, including Foujita, Chagall, Monet, Soutine, and Picasso. The artwork is part of the noted Lewis Collection, among the largest private art collections in the world, with each piece thoughtfully selected and carefully placed for guests to enjoy.

The tasting menu was a pretty wide array of flavors and textures. It was definitely plenty of food. Every dish was creative and fun to eat. Service staff were impeccable. Wines were delicious. My only gripe is paying 36$ for four glasses of still water. Seems a bit outrageous as we have been to many other Michelins and water was never a charge. Otherwise, it was a fun experience.

I have eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants in a handful of countries. Atlas definitely lives up to, and in many ways exceeds, the expectations I would have for a one star designated restaurant. The menu was thoughtful and creative without being inaccessible or overbearing. The cheese course was a standout (shout out to Capella’s), and the turbot dish was wildly good. My servers were excellent (Jordan!) and the overall service was spot on. It doesn’t hurt that the space is an art gallery for the works of Leonard Foujita. I have been skeptical of the spread of the Michelin guide lately, but there is no doubt in my mind that Atlas is more than a worthy bearer of (at least) one star Michelin.

The food quality was very good, we did the chef tasting menu which we knew would take longer due to all the courses but 4 hours was too much. We either got forgotten or our food had to be recooked in the middle of the meal. Service was slow sometimes some servers very descriptive but not all, did not meet my expectation of a Michelin star experience.
