   Overall experience was excellent given location of restaurant with beautiful views of Inn-Harbour. Aura would benefit if presenting more options for vegetarian dishes.

   I've traveled to Victoria for decades and have skipped over Auta-not paying much attention to a hotel restaurant. I was so surprised that the food was absolutely fantastic. Skip the cocktail. We ordered 4 different drinks and didn't finish even one. The drinks don't match up up the food at all, but wine would be a smart option to accompany your dinner.

   We enjoyed the quiet setting and beautiful view of the harbor. On both occasions (dinner and breakfast) the food was not quite as described in the menu. We heard other diners also surprised by their food. Everything was tasty, but be sure to question your waitstaff about the description of the food.

   Innovative menu. Had Halibut - perfectly cooked in wonderful broth. Also, wonderful desserts! Wait staff - Liam, attentive, friendly & efficient. Kitchen also fast! Going back again for lunch!

   I took my 94 year old mother for a special dinner. We were sat at a beautiful table overlooking the Empress. The hostess was very helpful getting my mother into her chair. The waiter took a while to attend to us but was helpful choosing a glorious BC white wine that I was not familiar with. Neither of us had seafood, which we should have had as it is always so good. I had a salad with tofu added. The tofu was not well seasoned. My mother had the farm chicken which was melt in your mouth delicious. Deserts to die for! It took a very long time to get our food which was difficult for a 9 year old. Neither our wine glass nor our water glass was ever refilled, which is always a nice touch.

   As always, absolutely outstanding food and service. Our waiter even provided a suggestion on dessert that was absolutely brilliant. This has long been a favorite of ours, and we most certainly will be returning.

   Sublime food. But very poor service. A mouse was running from the entrance to the restaurant’ interior without any reaction or consequences from the personnel’side. On top of it, we were asked to leave the table at around 9:30pm although the restaurant was open till 10pm and there were many free tables available at that time. No customer-friendliness at all!

    Went for afternoon tea and it was not worth the money. The flavours and textures of the items did not blend well. We left half of the food on our plates because we couldn’t eat it.
