   The overall experience was amazing. The only real downside was that we waited at reception for about 10 minutes, even though we had a reservation, no one was waiting, and there were plenty of tables. The hostess was simply not present. The food was outstanding and our waiter was fantastic, providing excellent suggestions.

   We recently had the pleasure of dining at Avenues Proper Restaurant & Publick House, and we couldn’t be more impressed! Tucked away in a quiet residential area, this charming spot felt like a local secret. Despite being quite busy, the atmosphere remained calm and inviting, with a low noise level that allowed for easy conversation. The service was outstanding! Our waiter struck the perfect balance—attentive without being overbearing, always friendly and helpful. You could tell they truly cared about the experience they provided. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the menu had a great variety that left us wanting to try everything. It's clear that this place is beloved by locals, and now we can see why. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a cozy, welcoming vibe, Avenues Proper is a must-visit!

    Quiet Sunday evening on the patio. Love the burgers (currently only &10 on Sunday nights) and beer flights. Service was play polite and attentive. We haven’t been there in quite a while after a few years of going very often. Was surprised that the menu has not really changed much over the years. Could be due for some updates might be the only suggestion for improvement.
