   We really enjoyed B. Matthews for a breakfast--service was excellent, food was prompt and the decaf coffee (which is usually subpar since decaf isn't most people's thing) was really, really good. Menu is friendly to vegetarians and pescatarians, which is a pro.

   We have gone to B. Mathews a number of times both for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere allows for casual dress or ready for a concert or theater performance. The food is consistently very good with a variety of choices.

   Enjoyed a relaxing evening. Started with Georgia peach old fashioned. Smooth and lightly sweet hand crafted cocktail. Had crab cakes that were very full of crab. We also enjoyed shrimp and grits. A favorite comfort food. Warm smooth delicious.

   Great food, ambiance & service. I had the Salmon in a lemon butter caper sauce which was outstanding. My daughter had the home made tortellini which was excellent. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive but not over bearing. Overall a great meal with my daughter and grand daughter. We’ll be back.

    Both the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Salmon were extraordinary! I would cherish the opportunity to eat that beautifully prepared salmon regularly, if I lived here. The server was genuinely friendly and extremely accommodating without being intrusive, The entire experience was fantastic, truly an evening to be remembered.
