   Dined here before a concert at Shea. Valet parking was a treat but the food and service was outstanding. Nice well rounded menu and some delicious features. My wife and I will be back!

   Service and atmosphere were excellent! Food was delicious but found a few of the dishes to be over spiced. Still in my top 5 in Buffalo and highly recommend dining here.

   It was Valentine’s Day, so working in the restaurant business, I can understand it was probably a very hectic day. Food was just alright, nothing stood out to us. Service was great, drinks were good!

   Quiet Wednesday evening at Bacchus. Ordered a Vouvray by the glass. Was told that while a bottle was available, they didn’t want to open it to serve a glass. Their menu listed it as available by the glass. A little weird for a “wine bar”. They offered a white rioja, in lieu, saying that it had similar flavor notes to the Vouvray. I suspect that all Loire valley vintners would disagree. Small plates were good. Pork belly Bao buns were very good. Octopus was tender, tasty, but a little salty. Winter seafood chowder was very, very salty. Couldn’t eat it. Halibut, another large plate, was overcooked. Also salty, but edible. I like salt, but chowder was salted beyond the point where you could taste the seafood. The creamy broth was as salty as sea water. Someone messed up. We won’t be going back!

    The wine pairing dinner was exceptional. The sommelier’s choices matched the courses beautifully. The lamb dish was outstanding.
