    Lovely meal after going to Opera house nearby … very festive and buzzy. Excellent service, great waitress who also sorted out GF options for himself !

    A mixed experience on a busy Sunday afternoon, with the main weak spot being the service. We were reminded at the beginning that the booking was limited to one & 3/4 hours - fair enough - but then it took 20 minutes for someone to take our drinks order and a further 12 mins or so to order food. We’d been there for 45 mins before our starters arrived and after finishing the mains it was nearly 15 mins before our plates were cleared. Luckily they didn’t enforce their time limit and so we were able to have dessert. All staff were warm and friendly but although there were many waiters present it felt haphazard, which gradually affected our enjoyment. All four of us liked our various dishes but none were exceptional.

    Very busy on the day we went but the staff were working very hard to keep up with everything. Amazing desserts and mulled wine cocktail.
