This was my third time to go to Balthazar. Staff very accommodating. Table booked for 5.15 we arrived late and we were reminded immediately that our table was needed for the next sitting at 7 pm! Thats fine ! Then it came to paying the bill… I was fortunate enough to have received a gift voucher for Balthazar , however on payment was told there was a 48 hour process for gift voucher! I never heard this before but I see it NOW on the website! Andrea the manager generously gave us desserts and coffees on the house! This needs to be stated more clearly on your website. Everything else great 👌

Esperienza pessima. La definirei una trappola per turisti. Neanche paragonabile al fratello di NY. Servizio pessimo, camerieri maleducati e incompetenti. Inconcepibile non poter scegliere cosa ordinare perché molti piatti terminati. Allora consiglierei di chiudere alla sera o forse proprio di chiudere definitivamente per non rovinare la fama di un locale storico e molto piacevole di New York.

The food was delicious! The wait staff was helpful and attentive. The food came quickly, even though it was very busy when we went. Our family would eat here again!

Absolutely fantastic venue. Lovely place for a family reunion. Had lovely cocktails and the food was delicious. My son especially loved the Balthazaar burger.

Everything was so delicious. We had soup, oysters and the brie cheese for starters. Steaks, burger and risotto for dinner and all were wonderful. Desserts great too.

The bartender couldn’t have been less excited to serve us. She was closing down the bar rather than interact with guests. We've had such fun experiences in the past and this was a total disappointment. We are taking this off our recommend list for US friends.
