   My husband and I booked the Christmas Eve "Feast of the Seven Fishes experience" and could not have been more disappointed. It was $85/person not including gratuity and the food quality was all over the place. We enjoyed the first course (raw oysters) but then the second course arrived and it was apparently a combination of three of the seven fishes all served on a pizza tray--we overheard our waiter explaining this to another confused table. - The mussels in this course? Tinned and served directly from the tin with no extra fanfare. Maybe this was meant to be cute or what have you, but they tasted exactly like you'd expect tinned mussels to taste--metallic and stale. Oh, and I googled it and you can buy these tins on Amazon. - The cod fritters were probably the best part of the meal and I wish we had more of them. - I think the third "fish" in this course was actually bread with an olive oil tasting? I'm not sure, it was such a random assortment of food on one tray. The octopus salad was nice but the salmon course was a mixed bag. The salmon skin was very crispy but the entire fillet didn't taste seasoned at all, not even with salt. The cassoulet base under it was very tasty at least. The final, major disappointment was the ravioli course. The filling was made with some type of white fish and it was incredibly dry. There was a very thin, flavorless sauce that went with them and the effect was beyond underwhelming. I had one bite and had no desire to try again. The dessert course was a mix of three Italian-type cookies and it was...fine. Not the best, not the worst, but again, underwhelming for the price point. Overall, I wish we'd picked someplace else to eat because I've been annoyed thinking of this meal for two days straight.

   Our server was fantastic, offering great recommendations on wine & food pairings. We shared many plates among five people & it all meshed nicely. Hoping to get back before the restaurant closes permanently in January.

   First time having their brunch. Extremely pleased with food choices and tastes. Friend said May have been most flavorful Benedict ever. On the list for a return brunch

   Only docked the rating because the music was pretty loud and vulgar. Obviously cant please everyone, so thats just an opinion. Otherwise the food was really great, our waiter was so helpful with didtary needs and there was zero wait for our table! Will come again but maybe not with our parents/in laws haha

   We usually adore the food here. It has been, in a few words, pitch perfect. But not on this night. Far from it. Salty. Over cooked. Even a few tasteless dishes came to us, but nothing delicious. I hope this is the exception and not the rule for one of our family favorites.

   The service and ambience were amazing! We have appetizers, 4 pasta and the pork chop shared between 4 adults which worked out perfect. The food was excellent noting the Cavatelli (Ragu) I think is the best in the city. Thanks Bar Dough for a memorable experience.

    We were disappointed in the pizza. We had the Margarita Pizza and it was so soggy. There was 1 piece of cheese on it, heavy red sauce and it was so sloppy you could have rung the piece out as there was no structure to the crust. Disappointed.
