Barbuzzo is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar located in the trendy Midtown Village area of center city. We serve small plates intended to share. With a wood-burning oven for pizzas & roasting, Barbuzzo’s menu features rustic, hand crafted regional fare such as: Grilled Octopus with fingerlings, roasted peppers & soppressata; Parsnip ravioli with duck ragu and roasted pears; Uovo Pizza with brussel leaves, guanciale, & truffle farm egg. We had a lovely time at Barbuzzo. We had to wait a bit for our table but the manager put us at the bar and gave us the whipped ricotta appetizer. So delicious! We had meatballs, beet salad and 2 pizzas. All delicious. Waiter was excellent as well.

I went here years ago and remembered the octopus dish, ricotta, and the salted Carmel dessert in the little jar. All of which I ordered again and loved. Service is good, prices are reasonable, and food is perfect for what it is. Non-pretentious and great flavors, I’ll look forward to coming back!

Great food (very salad and brazino were unique and delicious) and our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable about all the dishes. Would definitely return and will be recommending it.

Service could be a lot better. Double charged for an awful drink I had to get remade. Believe the bartender used extremely cheap tequila then changed to a better one when I complained. Waited 25 minutes for my table that was already reserved. Waiter was super nice tho. Food was incredible but service was awful, for this price in center city you could do much better

Just dined here with a friend. Everything about our experience was amazing. It happened to the restaurant week and so they had a price fix menu… I had their Arancini, followed by their short rib with polenta, followed by the Budroni dessert… and accompanied by an traditional old-fashioned cocktail. Everything was just perfect, beyond perfect. More tasty than I could’ve expected. Perfectly portioned. Great noise level and comfort. Our server John was attentive, but not intrusive. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to return!
