Barbuzzo is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar located in the trendy Midtown Village area of center city. We serve small plates intended to share. With a wood-burning oven for pizzas & roasting, Barbuzzo’s menu features rustic, hand crafted regional fare such as: Grilled Octopus with fingerlings, roasted peppers & soppressata; Parsnip ravioli with duck ragu and roasted pears; Uovo Pizza with brussel leaves, guanciale, & truffle farm egg. I had not been to Barbuzzo since pre-Covid, and they are still on point. Warm welcome at the door, acknowledged my note in the reservation upon arrival, service at the Chefs Counter was lovely. We chose to sit there for more space, although we had made a table reservation just in case. The two of us shared scallops, beet salad, duck confit pappardelle, and octopus. Each dish was perfectly cooked and tasty as all get. Saved room for the obvious: the Budino. But do not sleep on the Blood Orange sorbet, served with a lil shortbread cookie. That was a delicious surprise as well! High five to Marci and Val for preserving the greatness of Barbuzzo.

Excellent food, service and ambience. I woke up thinking about how good the food was and the combination of flavors. I can’t wait to go back again someday!

Stephanie was a great server! Whipped ricotta and bronzino were delicious. Wish we could have ordered the chocolate cake that was part of the fixed price NYE dinner, but they said we couldn't. Otherwise a delicious dinner and nice experience.

Barbuzzo is a great restaurant to have a good meal and drink. Never disappointed with the food menu. Great wine list. Always worth a visit while visiting Philly!

Barbuzzo was a great dining experience. We came an hour here closing, and we were served cheerfully and immediately. My drink and appetizers came very fast, and we ordered a Rossa pizza, which came quickly as well. The quality of the food was incredible. I ordered two appetizers; olives and the ricotta cheese with a mezcal based cocktail. I also had two glasses of the Barbera d Alba which was a perfect pairing with the pizza. I would go here again anytime, and highly recommend it. The server and staff were friendly and very efficient.

This restaurant is incredible and every dish was amazing! It's rare that happens. Nothing was mediocre. It was all exceptional. No brainer, come and enjoy!
