Barrel and Crow: A Contemporary Approach to Regional cuisine. Our Chef-driven restaurant relies solely on locally sourced produce and proteins. We utilizes these seasonal ingredients in preparing refined yet familiar comfort food. House made pastas and charcuterie offered every evening. Chef is always anxious to modify menu items to fit any dietary restrictions. Gluten, Vegetarian, Vegan and Dairy allergies are no problem. Pastry Chef Justin Roche dessert menu offers guests a selection of traditional desserts with a contemporary twist. Eclectic wine list which focuses on small production, boutique wines. A selection of 48 bourbons, extensive beer list with offerings from the top breweries in the Mid-Atlantic region. Full bar, seasonal cocktail menu and a wide selection of small batch spirits. We were seated in an almost empty restaurant, but no-one came by for nearly 10 min. The waitress acted like she really didn’t care about service, and then brought some off- label soft drink instead of Sprite without telling us. The food was okay apart from some green beans that were basically inedible. The waitress continued to act like she really didn’t have any interest, fortunately there was a waiter who was much more helpful. Overall, not an experience to make us want to go back any time soon

The menu is outstanding. And changes w/the season. Our server was amazing and friendly. Danny, the manager was working alongside everyone. It was great to see a full bar and dining room.

The Barrel and Crow restaurant consistently exceeds my expectations. It's like being a series regular on "Cheers," everybody knows your name and what you like. It's a place to relax and spend time with friends, including those working there.
