Our classic American restaurant builds on the rich history and tradition the Lake Area is known for. We use only the finest, freshest ingredients, coupled with personal service and warm, inviting surroundings. We're happy to bring this dining experience to the Lake of the Ozarks. Baxter's is the perfect place for a business or casual lunch, a special evening out, a family get together after a long day on the Lake, or 'just because.' EXCELLENT! Only a short wait. Seated by an outside window where we had requested. Scott was our server and was awesome. Drinks and food came in a timely manner and was delicious. Always a great experience at Baxter's!

Salmon dinner was spectacular. Vegetarian menu was available and had several choices but less than spectacular At least there is a menu with a few choices. Appetizers won’t offer much more for non-meat choices at this restaurant. The view from our table was great, perhaps because I let them know it was our anniversary and they gave us an on-the-house, house-special dessert!

We enjoy Baxter's and this year's New Year's offerings didn't disappoint. Lobster and bone-in filet were very well prepared.
