Our classic American restaurant builds on the rich history and tradition the Lake Area is known for. We use only the finest, freshest ingredients, coupled with personal service and warm, inviting surroundings. We're happy to bring this dining experience to the Lake of the Ozarks. Baxter's is the perfect place for a business or casual lunch, a special evening out, a family get together after a long day on the Lake, or 'just because.' We were celebrating an anniversary and this was a great spot! The food was excellent and the service was superb. Baxters is one of our favorite places at the Lake.

We absolutely love dining here! We make down to the lake once every couple months and Baxter’s is always a must. The vibe and energy here is so fun and the food is amazing. Had the salmon special and loved it. Can’t wait to come back!

Fine Dining at its best. It makes birthdays , high days, holidays, and anniversaries so special that you talk about them years later (as I was today, doing exactly that. :) There is no other like it at the lake. They do their utmost to ensure it's a day to remember. I really appreciate this for my friend, a lonely widow with no family here. Thanks for making her day a stellar one!

The pacific rim pasta was excellent. I would recommend reservations which is easy to do off the website. The blinds on the windows automatically open at sunset for a great view.

I have never had a bad meal or experience at Baxter’s and last night was no exception. My husband had a sirloin steak and I had scallops. Both so good! The dragonfly martini is the icing on the cake!
