   Pre Fixe Theatre Dinner $45 before seeing a show at Lookingglass. Parking validated at the hospital saved us $44! Food was outstanding. The whipped Feta and the fries were great starters. The whitefish entree was outstanding. The chocolate cake was supremely decadent. Service was slow but professional. Ambiance including the restrooms were great.

   To begin with, the receptionist was not friendly at all. We were given a table next to the kitchen and right beside a trash bin, which was quite unpleasant. Then, they brought us the wrong food, and instead of admitting the mistake, the waiter implied that we had ordered incorrectly—something impossible since we ordered chicken and were served a beef steak. On top of that, the food was bland and of very poor quality. To make matters worse, after we had paid, an employee who didn’t even introduce herself came over to tell us that they had mischarged us by $2. Instead of handling it sensibly, she insisted on canceling the payment and charging the card again. Completely unnecessary. The place is nice, but only if you sit far from the entrance and the kitchen. In short, a wasted family dinner.

   Very good lunch for two: Turkey Chile and Prime Burger. Very good service. Seating was problematic. It was impossible to pull the chair out from under the table the conventional way because of space. Had to awkwardly move the chair to the side to be seated.
