   We had a lovely family evening at Benihana for Christmas dinner. The server and our Chef were great. The food was delicious. Maybe because of it being a holiday, our chef didn’t start until we had been there for about an hour, seated for about 45 minutes. Luckily we weren’t in a hurry. It is quite noisy there so it was hard to have a conversation except with the person next to you. Also, we kept feeling a cold draft where we were sitting. That being said, overall, Benihana is a fun place to have a family or friend gathering - it is a performance with delicious food added in.

   We had a nice Christmas dinner and our tablemates were lovely. Thanks for a good experience and for offering a special way to celebrate the holiday.

   The food was good and the chef entertaining. The waiter seemed to be quite harried. We were concerned that our food allergies might be overlooked. There was no concern about cross-contamination between seafood and other foods, and the chef didn't speak English. Luckily, one of the other diners shared our food allergies with the chef in his language.

   Food was horrible. Could barely get the waitress to the table to provide refills, the bill, boxes. Of all the years, i can say i am no longer satisfied with the Benihanas’s and will not be returning for quite awhile.

   The staff were very accomidating for the foods my kids were not able to eat and helpful finding things they could. They were very positive and enviting through the whole experience!

   The chef we had was simply going through the motions. We had our 2 year old grandson and he didn't modify his presentation after he scared him (and me) with open flames. Our waitress couldn't keep anything straight and added the twosome's bill at our table to ours. We asked for a photograph and she messed that up - had to be retaken. The ice cream scoop at the end was a half scoop. The amount of food served has decreased....we normally have plenty of leftovers but not this time. Prices have increased and the service charge and taxes on our adult beverages were high. I like to tip for service, not a mandatory charge. We will not be returning to Benihana anytime soon.

   Prices have obviously affected all businesses. But since you’ve put the service charge in place….just that service has gone exponentially down hill especially at your Minneapolis location! I have been dining with your restaurant around the world since 1987 (but home is Minneapoilis) when it was called Samurai here in MN. Not once have I hd such an awful experience until tonight! The server not only didn’t bring our drinks once they were brought and emptied the server took our glasses away not asking if we want more to drink. When we ordered most of everything we ordered was forgotten and many other nuances to say the least. I am just truly disappointed in this display of service.
