   Reservation time was no honored. Sat down over an hour after my reservation time. Hibachi chef put minimum effort.

   It was my GF Birthday, We came for the show, not the food. We had a reservation, That did not matter, at this Benihana. They over booked, We wait over 30 minutes past our reservation. Before we were seated. I was at Flemings Steakhouse in san diego the week before were they honor a reservation. Sorry fun place, Food and service are bad..

   Great overall experience. I recommend making reservations for fast seating. Food was delicious! Cook was fast with minimal show or tricks, some appreciate that, some don’t. I love that my cook cooked the protein first and then the rice. I rather take the rice home vs the protein because you get full fast! Oh, and make room for ice cream at the end 😃

   Celebrating my daughter’s 15th birthday here and everybody from the hostess to the waiters to the cook, everybody did an awesome job. If I could give them more than five stars I will definitely recommend coming back to this location.

   We had a great experience at the Santa Anita branch. It’s hit or miss usually. Depends on the cook and your server. Tonight both were on point. Good fun table. Chris was the cook. Did a great job. My wife and daughter had the Benihana trio and I had the Seafood Diablo.

    Going on Valentine’s Day was probably a mistake. It was busy and we got seated with 6 other people and it was extremely crowded. Ruined the experience for sure. The shrimp and veggies were a bit too charred for my liking. Steak was phenomenal though. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience. It is a hit or miss at this Benihana’s and tonight was a miss.
