One of my favorite neighborhood haunts. I usually go for the fish of the day at lunch but today I had the French onion soup in the house salad with Roquefort added for a perfect lunch.

Over several years, Bistro Le Cep has remained one of our very favorite restaurants. Aside from the friendly management and staff, the ambiance is pleasantly quaint and comfortable. Most importantly, the food is prepared fresh and is most delicious- the food and wines warm the heart and remains gentle on the pocketbook for a premium restaurant. Treat yourself to an excellent meal there soon.

Bistro Le Cep never disappoints. After a perfect martini, the food was excellent. Our server offered a wine recommendation similar to my initial choice and it turned out to be excellent as well as lower in cost. Service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is quiet with nice background music at an appropriate volume enabling easy conversation. A totally enjoyable experience.

We really enjoyed our meal. We had Seabass and rainbow trout and both were excellent. This is one of the best restaurants in Houston. If you haven’t been, you must go everything is they serve is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We loved the new menu. I had the avocado stuffed with crab meat salad served with 2 shrimp cocktail along with the lightly fried filet of flounder, broccoli, carrots & pasta ALL cooked perfectly. Then the warm Bing Cherries with French vanilla ice crème. AWESOME! Plus the Sancerre.

The escargot were divine as always with the crisp baguette. The asparagus soup was delicious and my friend couldn’t say enough about the quiche Lorraine.

I have been dining at Bistro Le Cep since 2005, mostly being helped by the same waiters. It is amazing how they managed, along all these years, to keep up with the great service and great food. My wife loves the restaurant. We used to take our kids there and now I have taken my son and his wife. I truly recommend the place for a great dining experience at very affordable price.
