Bistro Mezzaluna has been a long time favorite of Fort Lauderdales discerning local diners and snowbirds alike. Located in a magnificant freestanding location at 1821 SE 10th Ave. (just a few short blocks away from our original location).
Under the watchful eyes of executive chef Jose Diaz, we maintain our reputation for well-crafted bistro fare. Add to that an award winning wine list (arguably the best in the county) and exceptional service and you will soon see why Bistro Mezzaluna has become synonymous with great dining.

The eclectic menu boasts such delights as ; U.S.D.A. prime steaks, homemade pastas and the freshest seasonal seafood including colossal stone crab claws. Phillip, our waiter, simply enhances the meal. He adds a style and charisma reminiscent of old world eateries. The food here is always great but Phillip pushes it to the next level. I have been coming back for 25-30 years and will continue to do so God’s willing

Se were originally led to a table outside, we asked to be relocated inside which they did. We started with an arugula salad which was very good. Unfortunately our hot meal came out too quickly, we did not have time to finish our salad. My husband had lamb which he said was excellent. I had the halibut special which was mediocre. The service was excellent Overall we had a nice time, but we are not in a hurry to rush back.

Good food, my lamb chops were truly medium cooked, my son’s steak was truly medium rare. Our waiter was pleasant. What was lacking was a bit of background music.

We received our dinner while we were still eating our appetizer. A group of 6 we felt rushed and ignored. We didn't receive the steak we ordered. It was a disappointing experience.
