   We have been coming to Thanksgiving dinner for years. This year we had to wait ONE HOUR to be seated even with reservations. Parking lot was FULL and I had to find street parking over a block away. What made it so miserable was that my mother was in a wheelchair and my dad, who has a bad back, had to stand the entire time. It absolutely felt like they overbooked their reservations and the customers had to suffer the inconvenience. The food was decent enough but not so good that all if this was worth it. I doubt we will be back next year.

   The restaurant was overbooked for Thanksgiving. With a reservation, it still took an hour. The waitress didn't bring any bread or offer a reason for no bread. She didn't write order down, so she mixed up a side dish for my brother. Food was good, but nothing special. The cranberry sauce was an afterthought, barely on the plate for everyone that ordered it.

   The manager Eric was rude. After arriving 15 mins before my reservation and waiting on a line to check in I still had to wait an hour to be seated - way past my reservation time. When I re-entered the check in and stated that I had been waiting 50mins Eric rolled his eyes like I was being annoying. I had a reservation and got there early, why am I now annoying after waiting patiently for basically an hour? The restaurant is not managed well. Not enough people on staff and sooooooo many empty tables. You are waiting to be seated because only 25% of the restaurant is being occupied. Not sure if it’s lack of staff or what, either way again mismanaged. They also turned the phones off for more than 5 hours (some lady came in complaining she had been trying to call since they opened at 11am and she called while in the restaurant to confirm they had indeed turned the ringers off and sure enough no phones went off. Shady.

   We arrived at 2:15 for a 2:30 reservation. There were 22 people waiting outside and more than that inside when we went to check-in. We were told there would be an additional hour to an hour and 15 minute wait, even though we had reservations. A couple outside the restaurant told us they had reservations at the same time as ours and they were told there was a 2 hour wait. We had a disabled person with with us and could not stand outside or sit in the car for that length of time. You ruined our thanksgiving and no one cared. Horrible, horrible customer service.

   Reserved a table for 3 Thanksgiving day for 2:15, waited for 1.5 hours finally gave up and left. I WILL NEVER VISIT THE BLACK ANGUS IN BURBANK AGAIN. This restaurant was spacing reservations at 15 minute interval but giving priority to larger parties. Now anyone could with the least amount of sense what would happen. Larger parties take longer to serve, yet Black Angus was still accepted reservation's with 15 minute intervals and knew days ahead the size of the parties and times reserved. This is simply poor management, either by open table or BA. When I asked about my reservation time, I was told to just hang in there (although after an hour and a half waiting there was still 5 people ahead of me) and there would be people cancelling and leaving as if BA expected it which of course they would since they accepted overbooking by Open Table. Poor poor service by open table and BA. My recommendation to anyone reserving a table at the Black Angus in Burbank...forget it and go to another restaurant that will honor your reserved time.

   Even though we had reservations, they appeared to have overbooked the restaurant. We waited 50 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, as did everyone else. After seating, everything went great!

   It was easy to make reservations on OpenTable. They let you know on my iPhone to confirm my reservation and sent another reminder which was helpful. When we arrived at Black Angus there were a lot of people but no one had to wait too long to be seated. The service was great and food delicious. Will definitely use OpenTable again and Black Angus our favorite restaurant. Made our Thanksgiving holiday a memorable day. Thank you.

    Rib eye was tough and burnt. Bathrooms were super gross. Filet was good.
