   We like gng here. But last nite there were no waitresses except one the manager had it come out even the bartender. took an hour for our main course to come out they forgot our salads. My husband got the wrong order. Our food was cold . We were there two hours and 20 minutes and so many people walked out because there was no service. No apologies. Nothing like it was the norm. It will definitely be awhile before gng back to El Cajon restaurant.

   Food was great service was awful. I brought my daughter there for a birthday it was never mentioned. Barely saw our waitress. Disappointed

   Good, could have been great. We were seated in the bar area in a nice booth, but the music needed to be about 20% quieter and the lighting could be dimmed, it felt like eating in a Golden Corral with 80's pop music blasting in our ears. Mind you, I like 80's pop music, but not that loud and not when I'm trying to eat dinner with my family. I kind of miss the older style Black Angus that had high booths and dimmer lighting, it was quieter and more private. Maybe it's better in the dining room section, I can't say. I'm old school and like candlelight (or USB-powered LED lanterns) on the table, quiet music, and softer lighting. Good cocktails, always a plus. Food was very good, although some simpler entrees would be nice for the finicky young adults in our group - like a simple burger with fries, maybe fish and chips, and an entree-sized chicken tenders option. Our server was good but seemed a little rushed, took quite a while to get our food. Lesson learned, order sooner than later. Would try again, maybe on a less busy night. Being able to make reservations on OpenTable is nice.

   We split a Campfire Feast. It was delicious. The steaks were perfect. Our server, Betty, was very friendly and efficient. Thanks for a great Saturday night.

   Our meal at Black Angus was perfect in every way. Payton was our server and she was excellent. Our food was exceptional. We could not have had a better experience.

   Make a reservation so you don’t have a long wait unless you want to eat in the bar.

   We love Black Angus! Our servers are always pleasant and on top of things, the food is always delicious! We appreciate the veteran's discount and really appreciated the free meal for my veteran husband.

   Went for a late lunch, early dinner with the wife. Nice and quiet at that time. Great Service although not fully staffed so early. See you guys next time

   The best experience yet! Megan S. was an excellent, fast, and friendly server. Alex cooked the steaks perfectly medium rare. The meal was poo perfect!
