Dinner at Black Cat Farmstead is a unique dining experience. Enjoy private garden cabanas with wood stoves, gorgeous views and a 4-Course chef tasting menu (dietary restrictions accommodated) created by James Beard nominated chef Eric Skokan at our historic farmstead. Our 500-acre full-scale diversified organic farm supplies the majority of ingredients for your meal; from vegetables & herbs to the pork & lamb to the grains. We offer 7 intimate private tables per evening. Reservations are required & limited. $145/per person++

Reservations are released weekly on Mondays for the following 3 weeks. We are generally open Wednesdays - Sundays. We do allow pre-booking for parties of 6+. Email us at farmdinners@blackcatboulder.com for booking private events, pre-booking, & general assistance. We would love to hear from you about how we can make your evening with us extra special.     Upon arrival, you will be greeted with hors d’oeuvres and an aperitif. Explore the gardens or the historic blacksmith barn. Wander through our working organic farm, or simply relax beneath our patio pergola. Dinner is served fireside in one of our seven private greenhouse cabanas each softly lit with oil lanterns. You will enjoy four courses, family-style, based on the day's bountiful harvest. Fresh salads and vegetables from the fields, warm sourdough bread from our stone mill and hearth, and heritage pork or lamb roasted over plum wood embers are some of the flavors that await. Wines from our award-winning list, as well as craft beer selections, are available by pre-order delivery. The farm hosts up to 8 people per table.

    From the vintage china and silver, the old wood stoves and the comfortable funky cabanas Black Cat must be experienced. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Each course outdid the last. The food is creative and flavorful, the sourdough bread outstanding. A true farm to table experience. Boulder and Longmont are full of good restaurants, but Black Cat is something special.

    Amazing experience! 10/10! Would recommend to anyone who loves fresh, highly curated and incredible food. The cozy cabanas were just perfect and everyone from the servers to the chefs themselves went above and beyond to make our dinner experience perfect. Can't wait to visit again and see what new amazing dishes they come up with next.

    I cannot say enough about how spectacular this farm dinner experience is!! It’s ridiculously cold yet we are warm and toasty in our cozy cabana overlooking the farm and the mountains. Course after course of delicious and inventive food arrives. Our server is so knowledgeable and friendly. We have our own private speaker for music. Such a wonderful, delicious, romantic experience!!

    We had our own private glassed in room with a wood stove and our own choice of music set amongst the farm with a view of the barn holding the kitchen. The ambiance is so amazing and so unique to Boulder county. The food was simple yet incredible. The whole experience was truly amazing, we cannot wait to come back!

    Chef Eric is the most masterfully talented, warm and inspirational man. It was an honor to meet him personally. We are so fortunate to have access to this incredible dining experience near Boulder. It is like no other and worth every penny! We will be back in the summer!
