   It was a quiet and cold Sunday evening, so I asked if we could sit near the fireplace. It’s a nice table in the bar area and I could have spent quite awhile drinking a glass of wine in front of the fireplace listening to the restaurant’s soundtrack. My mother and I had crab dip and the Restaurant Week menu of Caesar Salad, braised short rib and the chocolate brownie. They were unfortunately out of brownies, but offered us another dessert off of the menu. Hannah was terrific - friendly, joyous and polite. I love Blackwall Hitch and have had delicious meals and quality time with my guests when I was there, but tonight seemed more special and I appreciated that! Looking forward to the next time!!!

   Food was good, portions have definitely suffered from shrinkflation. I can't say that there was anything so distinctive about the experience that would have me running back.

   We enjoyed our retirement celebration dinner at Blackwall Hitch- Annapolis. It was our first time at the Annapolis location. The three of us each had different entrees. We enjoyed the restaurant week special - salmon. We also had the veggie tacos and the rockfish stuffed with crab cake and it was delish! Also our server, Amanda was incredible. Very professional and personable.

   Blackwall Hitch is always a good place for a business lunch. The menu is broad and varied, the food is good and the service is excellent. It’s my go-to place to take friends and colleagues.

    The food and ambience were top notch. Our server was nice, but very forgetful. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience, and we’d go back.
