    We had a very bad experience and will not be returning. My father in law could not have been more clear (and the rest of us emphasized) that he has a garlic allergy. They brought his steak covered in herb butter and we could easily smell the garlic. The server first took away then brought back insisting it wasn't garlic. FIL then asked for a plain burger instead. By the time it came everyone else was done and the burger had everything on it. At this point FIL didnt want to delay us so he got dessert. It could have been because the music was so loud nobody could hear each other but we all kept repeating to make the order clear. The manager came and seemed to think all of this was funny. Said he would comp us the dessert and the meals that were wrong (??). The fire alarm was going off during most of our meal and we had to ask multiple times for salt and cutlery. Those of us who ate liked our food but overall it was a miserable experience

    The food and the patio were great so the place has real potential but the service was really unacceptably bad. No silverware, no one taking our orders, receiving our appetizers but still no silverware nor our drinks, food that wasn’t ours being delivered to our table, still no drinks. It went on all night like this. And zero acknowledgement of the shortcomings in service. We will take our business elsewhere next time.

    I ordered the Trio, which consisted of salmon, grilled shrimp and a mini crab cake over smashed potatoes. The presentation was very nice. The crab cake was a little less crab meat mixed with fillers, whose taste was a little off. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my dining experience!

    We didn’t get water until our bill came. It was super noisy and overcrowded, leading to bad service. Our waitress was really sweet, but clearly overwhelmed.

    Our server Tina was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Even some things we didn’t even see. The food was delicious, and it didn’t take long to receive our entrées either. I tried the strawberry mock tail, and that was really good too. I had no idea there was another Blackwall location. I’ve had great experiences at the other ones too, so I appreciate the consistency.

    The service was terribly slow. I ordered the Blackwall Steak salad which was ok the steak was cooked properly. The dressing however was tasteless. Thee noise level was super loud.

    Excellent service from Kenneth. Appetizers were good including oysters and lobster bisque. The entrees were poor. Strip steak was incredibly tough and chewy and au gratin potatoes had a weird taste . Second entree was the halibut special and fish was overcooked and tough. Will not be back.
