Chef-favorite, late-night brasserie featuring raw bar, seafood, American dishes & cocktails in a convivial setting. Blue Ribbon's bustling dining room and friendly bar have been serving neighborhood regulars and culinary industry insiders since 1992. The Bromberg Brothers' eclectic vision first sprang to life here and has blossomed into an iconic destination known for its late-night dining scene where the country's top chefs congregate and eat after closing their own kitchens. Whether you're craving a burger and a beer, a hanger steak and a pint, a roasted rack of lamb and a deep red cabernet or the famed shellfish platter and champagne, Blue Ribbon is famously open late, seven nights a week.

My new favorite restaurant of its stylish, fine-food (fine as in "fine dining" as opposed to plainer fare), upscale but reasonably priced type. Love it.

While the hype machine fixates on the latest "must-try" spot that’ll fade faster than the 6 train, Blue Ribbon just keeps doing what it does—being one of the best damn places to eat in New York. The hospitality? Effortless. The service? Sharp. The food? Consistently excellent. You never walk out hungry, and you sure as hell never walk out disappointed. It’s a real-deal institution in a city that burns through restaurants like cheap cigarettes. Respect where it’s due.

There’s a reason this place has been a NYC staple for many years — because they get everything SO right. Period. “Breezy professionalism” is hard to do — and these folks are the gold standard.

Easily one of my favourite spots in the area. The food is exceptional. Excellent wine. The place has such a good vibe. Brought my tourist parents down from midtown, and they were totally impressed after their overpriced lunch at the Edge. If you can afford the price, you’ll be in for a truly great meal and you won’t regret it.
