    We were seated in their enclosed patio. Unfortunately the heaters were not operating properly and a there was a continuous cold draft from the door. We ate as fast as possible since our feet were frozen. Crab cake was like eating mush. Salmon was overly salty. The sirloin steaks were cooked to perfection but is a very chewy cut of meat . Overall, It was a very poor experience.

    Happy Hour at the Boat House in Rocky Point is a perfect place to relax, have some yummy appies while enjoying the view and visiting with friends.

    Great views, nice building, parking a bit of an issue Service was very responsive. Steak was over cooked. Menu on the pricey side.

    We were celebrating a birthday and were looking for a place where they had lobster. We both chose the lobster bisque which was excellent. Our main course was PEI lobster tail. Again, it was excellent, but a bit pricy. Portions were good, vegetable steamed to perfection. Would definitely order it again. A complementary dessert was served for the birthday attendee. BRAVO!!

    The server forgot we ordered appetizers. When I asked where they were after our main meals were served, she said they were coming. After I asked again after a few minutes , she said a couple of minutes more. She forgot to place our order for appetizers and we had to eat them after we had started eating our main courses. After I had paid and given her the tip, I asked her to take a picture of our group. She was holding something and said she’d be right back. She never came back and I had to ask another server to take our picture. I should have given a smaller tip, something more appropriate to the kind of service we received.

    The service was fine, but that’s all. The poke bowl was, I’m very sorry to say, was absolutely awful. Bland from the tuna all the way through to the sauce. We have been to other boathouse restaurants and been pleased. At this location the food was at best basic and bland. Considering this is a seafood restaurant this Poké bowl was unforgivable.

    Too bad the miso halibut has bee taken off the menu. The pan seared halibut was very dry and the black cod was not cooked properly tasted like raw fish.
