   We enjoyed spending our anniversary dinner here. Our server Graven was wonderful and very attentive. Our only issue was the lobster bisque was awful. The taste was very odd and not like a normal bisque. The tuna tartar and shrimp cocktail were Devine. We could have ate the tuna for our dinner it was that delicious. Our steaks and sides were great as well.

   Compared favorably to a better known Tampa steakhouse which we visited only a month ago in all regards. Food was just as tasty and well prepared and at a much lower price point. We shared a 20 oz porterhouse, rare, with pork belly and scallop topping. Steak was among the most tender and tasty I've had. Staff was prompt, cordial and very efficient. We had our wine delivered quickly and food came out shortly thereafter. Had a great conversation with our waitress, very cute, and sommelier and shared several California wine experiences. Several large parties shared the dining room, but overall the room was quiet and we were able to converse easily. Sorry, no tips to watch out for, the overall experience was five star.

   EXTREMELY slow service. 35 minutes AFTER finishing salad the entree arrived. At 20 minutes the server told us our steaks were “napping.” At these prices they could do SO much better. We were really looking forward to this dining experience but it was a bust.

   Wonderful experience. Attentive not rushed. Steaks were great. Carrot cake was delicious. Manager was always available.

   We enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the wood and plaid. Our steaks and shrimp were cooked perfectly and our server, Courtney, was very attentive. This is a good traditional steak house, and we will definitely go back.

   Bree was amazing! I loved the food but wish I had realized the carrot was glazed because cinnamon and sweet spilling over to your steak and lobster did not taste good. Luckily I don’t eat a lot so I was able to eat around the pieces drenched in sticky cinnamon glaze. They really should warn you. I heard other tables say no carrots but now I know.

    I booked dinner for two at 6:15 PM. Good timing as it was Feb 13, and I knew the 14th would probably be chaotic. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. Greeted warmly by reservation desk and hostess. Our waiter was great, very professional and friendly. The salad was awesome and the bread was fresh and delicious. The 9 oz filet was our choice and 2 of them was more than either of us could eat at one sitting. Just perfect on prep and seasoning. Mushrooms were perfect compliment and baked potatoes were delicious. The music was great and not overwhelming. A romantic evening with perfect service. A bit noisy initially with a table nearby but after they left in a few minutes we enjoyed peace and the great food. Bob’s is my new favorite upscale steak place.
