   We decided to go out for a nice dinner for 2 after attending a local event with family, being that it was our 17th Wedding Anniversary. After hearing some decent reviews for a few steakhouses around the venue and we found Bob’s. We have our “favorite” place a few miles away into town but decided since we would be only a short walk away from Bob’s so we’d give them a chance. Well…lesson learned to say the least. Started off with our hostess she was very sweet and kind and seated us immediately upon check in and left us to our server. When the server arrived promptly he began his spill about the daily specials and options for wines and cocktails when both my husband and I mentioned we do not drink alcohol we were not offered another option and had to ask what non alcoholic options were available. Once we decided on appetizer we were served within 10-15 minutes,great, well then server comes back after 5 minutes of the dish being placed and asked have we decided on entrees yet because the kitchen is about to close. We place the orders and when they came out 15-20 minutes later we were so disappointed. Both of our dishes were Filets and were both overcooked and we also had shrimp and crab cakes and the shrimp were more like rubber, crab cake had multiple pieces of shell within the first three bites and I was done. Soggy potatoes tasted nothing like garlic mashed should have tasted and more like water than anything else. We were hoping to have a remarkable meal for the money spent given that our “favorite” place is pretty close for pricing and this was supposed to be a “PRIME steakhouse” and felt more like a Sante Fe Cattle Co steak and shrimp and O Charley’s crab cakes, and all for the price of Ruth’s Chris, Bourbon, Eddie V’s, Stoney River Steakhouse (the favorite), or STK given that they’re all so close you’d think Bob’s would step it up. We didn’t even stay for the free anniversary dessert offered and decided not to even bother with that being a disappointment too.

   Steak was superb! Sides were ok. Not totally hot when served. Bernaise was good but chilly on arrival. Overall good meal and great service. Hostess was not willing to accommodate our large party with tables close together to celebrate a birthday so half of us were in an empty room Far from the rest of the party which was a downer. Expensive but the steak is awesome.

   Steak was good but the smashed potatoes was salty and we had to send back the lobster Mac and cheese as it was a sour taste from bread crumbs. The staff was apologetic but at the cost of the food quality should have been better

   Our party of 8 long time friends celebrated New Year 2025. We arrived a little early and were immediately seated. Our service by Sheldon was outstanding! He was very personable and attentive throughout the meal. Sheldon and his assistant kept our water glasses full (which is always important.) The cocktails, salads, steaks, sides and carrot cake were all delicious and cooked perfectly. Sheldon promptly brought our “doggie bags”, checks and pictures of our group. This was the perfect way to ring in the new year!

   Food and service is always outstanding. It has been our go to spot on New Year’s Eve to celebrate my wife’s birthday! Each year to commemorate our visit they always provide a nice touch like the menu wishing my wife happy birthday or our waiter singing happy birthday.

   Wasn’t feeling the best personally and not wanting meat but we were in town and the family wanted steak. The food we ordered was honestly prepared the best of any food we have ever had. The idea that a carrot could be eaten by all of us and enjoyed makes me laugh. The garlic potatoes actually tasted like garlic potatoes not just called that and were delicious. The best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The spinach and mushrooms were so delicious I could have just eaten that bowl and been happy. A little pricey honestly, and we eat at a lot of places, but the chef prepared our food as well as it could have been prepared in all of our opinions. Our waitress was so pleasant and just the right level of attentive. No complaints only accolades.

   I always love eating at Bob’s. The steaks were cooked perfectly., service was outstanding and the cheesecake was a perfect way to end the night.

    Could not have had a better experience. There are a lot of Great steak houses in Nashville and so glad I was able to visit Bob's. From the staff to the food, could not have been better. I was with my son as we visit Nashville for bar hopping every Christmas. We always plan 1 really nice dinner and this year it was Bobs. I had a TBone that must have been 4 pounds. It was cooked to absolute perfection. Beautiful seared crust on the outside and Medium Rare inside. The steak was easily 3" thick. One of the best steaks I have ever had. The bar had many hard to find Bourbons from the Single Barrel EH Taylor to the Weller Larue. Had to have a pour of each. My son and I have visited most of the top Steak Houses in Nashville and this steak was the best. Highly recommend.
