Borealis Grille & Bar serves the very best of locally crafted foods and beverages. We bring "The Taste of Ontario”, the highest quality of fresh products from Ontario farmers, breweries and wineries to our guests each and every day. We carry a great combination of lunch and dinner items to chose from, with an assortment of 20 Micro Brews on tap and a selection of Ontario's top wineries. This combined with a deep respect for local heritage and craftsmanship and an unwavering dedication for sustainability has given us an award wining recipe.
There are 5 things we consider when we choose what goes on our menu:

I had the half flat bread ( pesto bruschetta) and salad special and it was delicious. The flat bread was awesome and kale Caesar was good. Highly recommend it.

Food wasn’t as good as usual. Some menu changes in things like the antojitos were not so great. Salad was pretty dry, burgers were delicious. Would go back but would it order their salads or the same app. Miss their quinoa salad they used to have and do very well. Service was outstanding and that really helped the experience.

Luigi the server made the experience. He is fantastic professional and fun. Our first time at this restaurant. Food was good and it’s an interesting decor. But the service made it great.

Table for six had very hard chairs which became uncomfortable after awhile. No soft seating available for parties larger than four. Otherwise, the food, ambience and particularly the service by our favourite waiter Luigi was excellent. One of our favourite restaurants in Kitchener!

We had an outstanding New Years dinner at Borealis. Our server Michael was simply the best and the food and drinks were super. This was our second New Years at Borealis and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Amazing food and service!!! Only negatives are noise level - difficult to have a conversation due to loudness, and I wish there were more egg free options (like pastas and desserts) so I could try more different dishes (allergy). But neither put us off returning, we’re frequent customers!
