The Boulder Cork Restaurant has provided quality food and excellent service since 1969. The restaurant is now one of Colorado’s most renowned dining experiences. The casual, yet attentive atmosphere is the perfect place to spend a special evening, be it to relax with friends or entertain business associates. Our banquet facilities can accommodate large groups with the quiet proficiency and superior quality that has become the hallmark of The Boulder Cork. The food is an impressive display of creativity and variety, masterminded by the chef, Jim Smailer. Chef Smailer has created an enticing offering of steaks, prime rib, chicken, pasta, and fresh fish selections; all on the cutting edge of culinary delight. The food is as fresh as the market allows.     We made reservations for Thanksgiving day, the food was awful!! We ordered the combo ham and turkey holiday dinner. The turkey was all dark meat and was hard and dry. The ham was mostly fat. We received a spoon full of potatoes if that, the biggest serving on the plate was a scoop of cranberry sauce. It was a really disappointing experience.

    First time here & took a chance booking Thanksgiving dinner . Wonderful service, excellent food,, it was well worth our drive. Every bit of our experience was great, this won't be our last visit.

    Comfortable, cozy, classic restaurant. I feel best for group of 1 to 8 to enjoy the atmosphere. Classic food options for different tastes. Best happy hour nachos anywhere.

    We decided to sit in the dining room for happy hour because the bar was too loud. I ordered the fish tacos and they were served with grilled sweet peppers, sides of black beans, chopped tomatoes, guacamole and a dab of sour cream. The soft tacos were separate on the plate and I made my own tacos. They were the best fish tacos I’ve ever eaten. My friend ordered the salmon off the regular menu and she raved. Gary our server was beyond - we had wonderful service. Oh, and don’t forget to order a lemon drop - yummm.

    Great service! Our server was kind, patient and very helpful. She helped make our meal so much better! And the food was served quickly and tasted delicious! Wonderful ambience as well. We highly recommend this spot!

    Prime rib last three visits much tougher than in the past. Salmon salty and a bit fishier flavor, veggies cut too thick.

    Food and ambiance was very good. My wife and I are constant customers. We always bring guests there. This was the first time we had a waiter who seemed very disconnected. The reservation acknowledged we were celebrating a birthday and a 50 yr wedding anniversary. We were greeted by the host/hostess congratulating us. We’ve always had great service. Not this time!! Typically, the waiter offers dessert and acknowledges a birthday or anniversary. I heard other wait staff congratulating customers at other tables around us. Absolutely no friendly interchange with our waiter. Our guests were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. I brought them to Boulder Cork thinking it would be a special experience for them. I was embarrassed and disappointed!
