Well-known for our signature Clam Chowder, Grilled Swordfish & Crème Brûlée, the Brigantine is a favorite among locals for consistently fresh seafood, succulent steaks & grilled meats.

A favorite destination for locals & tourists alike, the Coronado Brigantine is located in the heart of the village, immediately adjacent to the historic Hotel Del Coronado.

Completely remodeled in 2016, the "new" Coronado Brigantine is an elegant adaptation of its former self. The addition of an intimate private dining room, a surround-seating bar and street-side outdoor patio have been equally well-received.

    We sat for 15 minutes before our server greeted us and our dinner entrees came out two minutes after our appetizer. We dine here constantly always great and I hope this is not the sign of future experience.

    I had my first dining experience here and overall; it was a good one. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the service was both friendly and professional. The oysters were fresh and tasty, and the Brussels sprouts were definitely the standout dish, they were delicious! I had the Mahi Mahi with risotto and seasonal vegetables, which was fine but lacked flavor as were the steamed veggies. It wasn't bad just kinda basic. My partner enjoyed the wok-seared ahi more. While the meal wasn’t exceptional, I'm open to giving it another shot and trying a new dish or perhaps a different location.

    My husband and I had had a great dinner. The Brussel sprouts were delicious. Also, I would highly recommend the chicken cordon bleu!!

    Monica was a great server’ the chicken cordon blue was delicious! My boyfriend had the coconut shrimp and calamari and loved both! Recommend reservations as it gets busy but worth it!

    Our waiter did an amazing job and accommodated my special request. However, the food was bland and tasteless and not hot. I had high hopes for a tasty meal, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the result.

    We made our reservation online and chose “standard seating” which implies standard seating inside the restaurant. Upon arrival we were escorted to a table outside that was more like a parking lot than an outdoor patio. The hostess was gracious enough to really help us out and was able to at least get us on the front patio which was just ok. It was better but just ok. I wouldn’t have minded so much if it was known that that’s where we were to be seated upon making the reservation. It should definitely be noted on here that if you chose standard seating that that’s where you will be seated. This was only the issue we had. Other than that everything was great as always at the brig! This was our first time at this location and now we know what to expect going forward. Shout out to the hostess for going above and beyond.

    I dined at Brigantine in Coronado tonight, and while the atmosphere was lovely with a relaxing coastal vibe, the food left much to be desired. The calamari was disappointing — the presentation was unappealing, and the texture was rubbery, making it hard to enjoy. On a brighter note, the crab-stuffed tiger shrimp was flavorful and cooked well. However, the sides of potatoes and steamed vegetables were bland and could’ve used more seasoning like salt and pepper to bring out their flavors. Our server was polite but seemed rushed throughout the evening, making the service feel a bit impersonal. Overall, while the ambiance was pleasant, the food didn’t quite match the restaurant’s reputation. I expected more from such a well-known spot in Coronado.
