   I rarely write reviews but was disappointed with our last visit. Unfortunately it wasn’t our best experience at Broussard’s. Service was alarmingly slow and inadequate. Drinks were always empty before anyone refilled our bottomless mimosas so we started serving ourselves. Food was ok, just average. I’m sure we’ll be back, but hope it’s an improved experience. Btw… flowers in the courtyard were droopy and sad.

   The food here is top notch! Everything our table ordered was delicious and the portions were decently sized. The only downside was service being super slow. We had to ask for our drinks a couple of times and in the end we actually cancelled one because we waited so long we decided to go somewhere else. Our server was very apologetic you can tell they were overwhelmed that day. Besides that it’s a cute place to get brunch especially if you sit in their patio.

   The redfish was the best I’ve had in NOLA up to this point. Brussel sprouts were delish along with the pork belly. Bread pudding with the English toffee was incredible. Services top notch. A very good culinary experience.

   Jazz brunch is great in the front pink room. The other rooms are a bit quiet. The food was great. Enjoyed it. Would recommend

    The roving jazz band was a highlight—they played many different songs, some older, some newer, over the course of the brunch. Endless mimosas were fun, but the food was the best. Highly recommended.
