   The food was excellent, as was the service and ambience. I was disappointed with the host station; there were two gentlemen who were having a very difficult time seating two separate couples in front of us and just seemed very ‘behind the ball’. I requested a bottle of nice champagne be waiting at the table, and it wasn’t. It was quite obvious that nobody looked at our reservation before we got there & even then, saw 2, and got us out of the way to a table. I expected more attention to detail at this level. With all of that, the restaurant portion was excellent.

   Upon arrival they were clearly understaffed at the host stand. We had a reservation but stood in line for almost 10 minutes due to their inability to get us seated. Our food was ok- but there’s much better to be had elsewhere in Ft. Lauderdale. Our experience would have been better if it had not been for 2 parties that thought it was acceptable to allow their 5+ year old children to scream and dance in a high end restaurant. No fault of the establishment- but maybe if dinner is $50+ per plate- it should be 12 years and older. Our server was very attentive and apologetic.

   We specifically made a reservation on Christmas Day for the three course Prix Fixe Christmas dinner. Our reservation was at 7:15pm, and only after we were seated and had valeted our car did they tell us that the special dinner was “sold out”. Their regular menu is good, but not great, and definitely overpriced. This seemed like a classical bait and switch or, at best, very poor planning. I won’t be returning.

   Great spot overlooking the beach and excellent food. Recommend eating outside. Didn’t notice traffic noise at all.

   Expected a nice Christmas brunch but I guess the website was misleading and at 12 on a holiday only a very limited lunch - nothing special for a holiday was available. Not sure how the table across from us that came later were able to order eggs and pancakes? Would not recommend and would not go back.

   We had a horrible server who didn’t seem to care about us. He was nowhere to be found for long periods of time. He lacked a personality. He was just awful. However, all of the food was outstanding! Hats off to the Chef.  The delicious cuisine was overshadowed by unacceptable poor service. The whole dining experience should have been a happy one when you spend about $100 per person at a high-end restaurant.

   Great experience on a cool SFL night. Service was great from the start. Hostess was prompt in seating us and courteous. The waiter was great and the food was excellent. Been here a few times and will continue to come and recommend. Thank you!

    We absolutely love Burlock Coast when we are visiting Fort Lauderdale. Excellent food. Excellent service. We have several with food allergies and they are amazing at being able to provide safe options for each of us. We’ve dined as just a couple and as a group of 6. Each time they haven’t skipped a bit. They care about where we want to sit and what we want to eat. Thank you!
