   Our first time at Cafe Boulud and we enjoyed a delightful breakfast! The restaurant and hotel are absolutely beautiful. The service was fantastic and attentive - given we were there on Christmas morning we really appreciated the servers and hosts giving the impression there was no place they'd rather be. The food is delicious - everything was done really well. It will definitely be on our list of possibilities for future special occasions

   Christmas menu promising. Steak Tartare bland. No options if you chose to opt out of dessert. Disappointing for limited menu. Bread arrived at the table between courses. Experience and value not aligned. Recognizing it was Christmas Eve but would have thought at the very least an Amuse Bouche would he served with bread on the table prior to the start of the meal. There were flexible when my mother didn't enjoy her first bite of desert they provided her a different option. Overall experience was meh.

   Family dinner on Christmas Eve. Seating OK. Disappointed they switched out Chestnut Mont Blanc from the menu. That was the major reason to book the restaurant! Hamachi and scallops were nicely decorated and taste excellent. Staff were friendly. Pricing is good.

   We had Christmas Eve dinner there. The food is quite salty, but the servers are very helpful and nice. I would recommend asking for a table not next to the kitchen— it’s VERY disrupting while seeing all the staff in and out.

   We were seated in a booth near a cutlery station and the noise from the clinking cutlery was very disruptive. We thought the charcuterie should have cheese on it. We had to ask for extra toast and bread to accompany our beef tartare, as it only comes with two small pieces. The chocolate Yule log was not replaced. We would have preferred an a la Carte menu. Shouldn’t be forced to order what we don’t want - and the reservation booking did not make it clear it was going to be price fixe. Service was excellent.

   I was not aware this was a set menu - the website and open table did not mention. My friend is pregnant and the items on the menu were not pregnancy friendly. And the ones that were, were NOT worth the cost of the set menu. Disappointed. Food was good but not great

   The CANARD RÔTI and mushroom soup were excellent—definitely worth coming back for the duck! The foie gras was average, but the GRAPEFRUIT GIVRÉ dessert was delightful. Big thanks to the restaurant for the complimentary cake to celebrate our anniversary—such a thoughtful gesture!

   Third time here - we like to do the Sunday brunch once a year with the kids around Christmas time. This year was a little disappointing. We menu was more lunch oriented than brunch, and we had a hard time understanding our server. Long waits to take our order, clear the table, etc. The pain perdu was good but the lobster crepes somehow didn’t really taste of lobster. Overall, disappointed.
