   We were hoping to have a true French restaurant experience and were highly disappointed when at the last minute all dinners were prix fixe and the dining experience was moved into a ballroom. Granted it was Valentine’s Day so I see their need but because they didn’t inform us until a day before, we were unable to find reservations anywhere else with that short of notice. So it just felt like more of a cafeteria experience where there were limited choices, one or two seatings, and no ambiance whatsoever. If I were to label my review, it would be “disappointed “.

   Food was amazing from the chaceuterie board and bone in ribeye for two to the crème brûlée. Just incredibly tasty, well presented, and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was amazing, allowed time between courses so we could enjoy the whole experience. Highly recommend as it was one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed.

   The main restaurant was closed, but the hotel did not inform us. The temporary room was nicely furnished and comfortable, but the menu was very simple and offered the kinds of menu items you could get anywhere for 1/3 the price. We paid 100.00 including the tip...for breakfast.

   I went at 3:45pm on a Saturday for a late lunch. Because of the time, I basically had the dining room to myself, which was very nice. The staff were super kind and the ambiance of the new room is beautiful. RIght now, Cafe Du Parc is serving food in a different room of the hotel, but I didn't mind it at all once I found it. Overall, I had a lovely experience. I look forward to visiting again!

   In December, I had my first Croque Monsieur at the Parc de Café in the middle of a cold afternoon in a nearly empty restaurant. I could see the chef preparing it and waited 10 minutes or more. It was crispy and creamy and hot and delicious. I couldn’t wait to return. This experience was so different. Apparently there was an issue with the restaurant so Patrons were rerouted to a private dining room. As soon as I stepped in, it was incredibly loud. I think the waiters were adjusting to the change in venue, and were very busy/understaffed. It took a good while to get my drink order taken. But my food! It was delivered lukewarm about three minutes after I ordered it. It looked and tasted as if it had been sitting under a warming light. I caught the waiters eye and asked to have it remade, Fresh. Once again, in about three minutes, I was delivered a piping hot sandwich, with cheese oozing out of the sandwich and congealing on the plate. I think this time it was another premade under the hot light sandwich that they put in the microwave for a minute. It was so disappointing. I would never want a second one of those sandwiches like I had fallen in love with the first sandwich. So disappointing.

   Two great dishes were the mussels and the boeuf bourguignon. The veal and chicken should be reviewed. The veal accompaniment was good, but the meat should be cut more finely. The chicken, too dry, with asparagus needs to be rethought, The desserts were perfect. I'll certainly be back

   We enjoyed every aspect of our dinner at the Willard Cafe Du Parc. The customer service was extraordinary from the hostess to the restaurant staff waiter Martin, the Manager, the Cheff, everyone went well beyond their call of duty to make our experience an excellent one. I am eternally obliged. Every item we ordered from the menu were outstanding. No complaints whatsoever! It was a special occasion for us and the staff made it very very special for us. The hostess even called me in advance to ask where we would like to sit! That is what I call customer service excellence! My hats off to the Willard Management team for holding such unbelievable customer service and care and quality of staff at the highest levels. We will be back again. Thank YOU! Alex

    Beautiful place. A classic and full of history. Food is simple but perfectly made and delicious.
